Bonfire Permits are for within the city limits of Flagler Beach

Permits must be filled out the day of. Please do not fill out a permit in advanced as it will not be accepted

Rules and Regulations

  • No fires on the beach after dusk between May 1st and October 31st, no exceptions.

  • Ensure there are no active burn bans city and county wide.

  • Fire must be contained in a metal drum or similar container, as to not leave remains on the beach.

  • Hole must be dug to the depth and length of the estimate flame height.

  • Must have a means of extinguishment nearby; such as a shovel, bucket of water, fire extinguisher ext.

  • Wood used must be all natural and not contain nails, screws, or other metals.

  • Fire must be at least 30 feet from the dune line. If the tide does not allow this distance the fire will not be permitted.

  • Fire must be at least 100 feet away from designated turtle nests.

  • No fires are permitted between the pier and 10th Street North and 10th Street South.
